The days in Hong Kong with the 4 winners of Singha Corporate Golf Challenge on November 22nd – 25th, 2010
At 9 o’clock, we (Khun Derek, Chanachok, Chanawit, Phanupong, Jessada, and me) checked in at Thai Airway counter. Everything was going well with all the process through the immigration. By the way at 10:30 a.m. we flew over again by first class Thai Airway to Hong Kong about 2 and half. Our group travelled on the express train and taxi to Hotel (Novotel Hotel, Nathan Road, Kowloon). It was a great time that some of us has been outside of Thailand. Everything was a new experience.
In the evening we were free. All of us like to go for a walk around the area near the hotel. Af
ter that we separate to go wherever we want. All the winners seemed they really like here a lot. We got back to the Hotel late at night.
The weather here was quite good, not hot not cold, and a little bit windy.
On the Second day (November 23rd, 2010), we met each other at the lobby at 8 o’ clock and set off to Clear Water Bay Golf Club. It took almost one hour getting there but the drive was very scenic. This course is such a beautiful golf course ever where we couldn’t compare to any courses in Thailand. I wish that Thailand should have one like this. The course is situated nearby the sea that golfers could enjoy the atmosphere of ocean while they are playing golf. For the first 9 holes golfers will be enjoy with the find weather of the sea, wind blows that you could smell of the ocean. Other 9 holes, golfers will stand above on the mountain by looking at the city surrounding there. If you look to this picture you can see the golf course and sea behind.
Well, they all were happy with this time. Such a funny of me that I couldn’t play golf but I had a chance to come along with this trip. Unfortunately I had to wait for them for 4 and half while they were in golf course.
We all got back to the hotel afterward at 4 o’clock. It took one hour. We went to had a dinner at the place near by our hotel. It’s a night market same as Night bazaar in Chiang Mai. Every stuff here is so high when we compared to Thai Baht. We all went for a walk, looking for some souvenirs for people back in Chiang Mai and Bangkok. It’s good to see what Hong Kong is like.
One thing that I wonder, almost everyone here has their own good cars. No houses, only live in condominiums.
For the third day on November 24th, 2010 we got up quite early in the morning because our T-Time is 9:15. Heading up to Hong Kong golf club the place that just had the Hong Kong Open. We arrived early as well so all winners came to practice their swings before playing. Everyone enjoyed with this course as well as the first course.
During riding on the bus, everyone was tired so taking nap a little bit before getting to our hotel.
For the last day, we all got free for the day until the time to pack our baggage and ready to go to Hong Kong airport around 4 p.m. We setting off by taxis and express train heading to the airport. It’s quite great for their Flight check in system. All of us could check in at the express train station before getting in the train. We don’t need to check in at the airport.
After getting to airport, we had one hour left in Hong Kong. It’s quite said a little bit. We didn’t want to leave here. We wished to stay here longer. However we accepted this rule but we believed that we can come back here one day.
At 6: 30 PM flew back to Thailand by First Class Thai Airway. All the crews they are so good serving beverage and food to customer. Thank you to Thai Airways that bring us joyful for this trip in Business Class!!
